The Bell Fund is a Canadian not-for-profit organization certified by the CRTC as an independent production fund. Since 1997, it has received over $300 million from Bell TV to support Canadian independent producers in developing and producing high-quality television series, short-form digital series, and development slates. The Fund operates offices in Toronto and Montreal, with a mission to support Canadian media content makers in creating for audiences in Canada and internationally. Since its establishment in 1997, the Fund has played a crucial role in supporting the development and production of Canadian audiovisual content.

The Bell Fund is committed to supporting a more equitable, diverse, inclusive, and accessible industry across Canada. The Fund prioritizes projects from Indigenous creators and Equity-deserving communities including Black, Racialized, Women and gender-diverse, 2SLGBTQIA+, Persons with disabilities, Regional producers, and Official Language Minority Community (OLMC) producers.
The Bell Fund publishes annual reports with detailed statistics on funding decisions, recipient projects, and industry development initiatives. Funding decisions are announced publicly, and the Fund maintains a publicly accessible database of funded projects.
