Who is CDAP for?

Canadian-owned businesses that are for-profit or cooperatives.
Must sell goods or services directly to end consumers.
Must have generated more than $500,000 in sales in their last income declaration.

What exactly is CDAP?

CDAP is a government initiative designed to promote the digital transformation of Canadian businesses.
Phase 1 offers grants up to $2,400 to set up online business activities.
Phase 2 offers the possibility of obtaining up to $15,000 in grants and up to $100,000 in interest-free loans to improve your company's technology.

The digital transformation plan

With the help of helloDarwin's digital consultants, create a complete plan to achieve your digital objectives.

The grant

CDAP subsidizes 90% of the digital transformation plan with a grant up to $15,000.

The BDC loan

The Canada Digital Adoption Program gives access to a 0% interest loans between $25,000 and $100,000.

Subsidy Application

Once you've made sure you meet the eligibility criteria, go to the Canadian Digital Adoption Program website and click on the "Submit an application" option. Create an account and take a free digital needs assessment. Complete your application for the program by and once your eligibility is confirmed, please accept the grant agreement. Be sure to send us an e-mail to inform us of this step, so that we can send you the proposal to sign and start preparing the digital adoption plan.

Digital adoption plan

Once the proposal is signed, one of our digital consultants will guide you through the development of a comprehensive action plan, aligned with your digital goals and capabilities. Once this digital adoption plan has been established, you will proceed to payment for services and submit the plan on the CDAP portal. Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) will then reimburse up to 90% of related costs.

BDC loan application

Once you've received the grant, you'll be able to apply for an interest-free loan from the BDC via the CDAP website. Companies with sales between $500,000 and $5 million will be eligible for a loan ranging from $25,000 to $50,000. Companies with revenues in excess of $5 million will be eligible for a loan of between $50,000 and $100,000.
