Latest change: The FAQ and How To Apply pages now show updated 4-H and Rural Communities dates, including new 2027 4-H deadlines and revised Rural Communities timing.
FAQ and timeline updates
The Frequently Asked Questions page now shows updated program timing: the 4-H funding apply-by date moved from January 31, 2025 to January 31, 2027 and the spend-by date moved from November 1, 2025 to November 1, 2027. It also now says Rural Communities recipients will be announced in September instead of October, the grant is divided among the top five projects, and applications will not be accepted after July 31 instead of August 31. The How To Apply page now shows Rural Communities Grants for June 12, 2026 to July 31, 2026 with an active Apply Now link, and it shows 4-H Funding opening November 4, 2026 with status CLOSED. The Major Partnerships listing itself still shows ongoing availability and the same application link, so the visible change is concentrated in supporting FAQ and application-schedule information.
