Overview

Catalyzing support provides up to $7,500 to help complete a feasibility study and business plan for an employment social enterprise idea. Eligible activities can include hiring support resources, using coaching or consulting services, joining entrepreneurship support programs, and covering administrative costs tied to developing these deliverables.

Selection criteria

How to apply

  • Step 1: Request application details
    • Contact TEF to obtain Catalyzing application details if you have not participated in an Accelerator.
  • Step 2: Prepare your proposal
    • Define the employment social enterprise idea to be advanced.
    • Outline the feasibility study and business plan work to be completed.
  • Step 3: Submit your application
    • Submit the application following the instructions provided by TEF.

Processing and Agreement

Additional information

  • Participants in TEF Accelerator programs may have an opportunity to pitch for Catalyzing funding.
  • Accelerators include information, workshops, and programming to support early-stage employment social enterprise ideas.
  • Start-Up support is available to help launch and establish a new employment social enterprise.
  • Completing a feasibility study and business plan with TEF support is common but not required to pursue Start-Up support.
