Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Current or future Energir customers
  • Owners of rental buildings with 4 or more dwelling units and low-income tenants
  • Housing cooperatives and housing OSBLs
  • Non-profit community organizations that help a disadvantaged clientele

How to apply

  • Join one of Energir’s eligible energy-efficiency streams first.
  • Send Formulaire I before work begins to efficaciteenergetique@energir.com.
  • If you are participating in more than one stream, send a separate participation form for each application.
  • Housing cooperatives, OSBLs, and non-profit community organizations must provide a copy of their charter to prove eligibility.
  • For multifamily owners, Energir sends an information document and a personalized invitation letter to distribute to tenants.

  • Energir confirms whether the participation request is accepted.
  • Energir sends an information document and a personalized invitation letter for tenants.
  • Energir reviews tenant participation requests and verifies their eligibility.
