- Job placements outside BC
- Work in non-eligible sectors or settings such as farmer's markets, community gardens, hobby farms, landscaping, research farms, or non-profit organizations
- Remote, office, retail, social media, events, or sales roles
- Applicants under 16, part-time students, or graduate/post-doctoral students
- Employment with an employer based outside BC

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis
- Applicants may be conditionally approved before employment is confirmed
- If approved, IAF sends the decision and terms and conditions
