  • Applicants under insolvency or creditor protection proceedings

Eligible expenses

  • Labour, subcontracting, professional fees, and consulting
  • Training, authors’ fees, materials, equipment, rentals, and promotion
  • Exhibition creation, installation, adaptation, transport, storage, and insurance
  • Digital development and maintenance, artifact restoration, travel, and non-refundable taxes
  • Administration and contingency costs within program limits

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Recurring or normal operating expenses
  • Purchase of collection objects or specimens
  • Demolition of exhibitions
  • Food and alcohol for promotional activities
  • Debt financing, loan repayment, land or building acquisition, and legal fines

  • Application is reviewed by the Ministry, with external expertise if needed.
  • Projects are ranked against program criteria and budget availability.
  • Priority may be given to youth-targeted projects and those using sustainable practices.

  • Final reporting is required after project completion.
