Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Volunteers.
  • Artists, artisans, street food vendors, and business owners who want to offer their services for the celebrations of the next edition.

Who is not eligible

  • Sole proprietorships.
  • Universities and research centres.
  • Government ministries and budgetary or non-budgetary public bodies.
  • Applicants listed in the Register of Enterprises Ineligible for Public Contracts.
  • Insolvent or bankrupt applicants.

Eligible expenses

  • Labour, artist fees, and copyright fees.
  • Equipment or venue rental, material purchases, subcontracting, promotion, and travel.
  • Insurance, permits, accessibility adaptations, evaluation, administration, and contingency costs.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Online celebrations.
  • Conferences, congresses, or specialist-sector events.
  • Fireworks, food and alcohol costs other than cake, debt repayment, capital expenditures, and expenses for activities outside Quebec.

  • If your organization has never made a request, register through the online creation account page.
  • Have your Quebec business registration number ready or consult the Registraire des entreprises du Québec website.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed for admissibility before selection.
  • Eligible projects are assessed by a selection committee.
  • Applicants are notified of acceptance or refusal.
  • A partnership agreement is signed for the regional organizer.
  • Final reporting is required after the event.
