- The applicant must be a Quebec-based business or legally constituted organization (joint-stock company, non-profit organization, cooperative, general partnership) operating in the field of arts and crafts or specializing in the marketing of Quebec arts and crafts products.
- The business must have its headquarters and principal establishment in Quebec, with 100% control of rights and fact held by Canadian citizens or permanent residents with tax residence in Quebec.
- The business should have activities of creation and production rooted in artisanal conception associated with the transformation of materials.
- The stages of creation and production must be primarily performed locally by active artisans within the company to ensure product quality control.
- The business must own the intellectual property rights of the designed products.
- The cultural products of the business should be distinguished by their quality, originality, and distinctiveness.
- The business must have an atelier in Quebec; however, businesses specializing in the dissemination of arts and crafts are exempted from this requirement.
- The primary mission of the business should be the development and maintenance of artisanal know-how.

Eligible expenses
- Rental expenses for exhibition space at regional and national art fairs.
- Travel expenses based on distance to the art fair location, ranging from 500 to 1,000 CAD per event, with a maximum of 5,000 CAD annually depending on the specific distances to the art fairs.

- Companies with their headquarters and main establishment in Quebec, Canada.

Prepare the documents proving the company's commitment to being present at the chosen trade shows (space rental contracts, registrations, etc.).

- Fill out the application form provided by SODEC, including all required information on the trade shows and participation forecasts.
- Submit the application before the specified deadlines: from March 17 to April 17, 2025, or from September 22 to October 23, 2025, depending on the period of your submission.

Waiting for and receiving the response
Wait for the response from the SODEC regarding the acceptance of the application and the amount of assistance.

Proof of participation and receipt of aid
After the holding of the fairs, submit the proof of participation for the payment of the grant.
Additional information
- The financial assistance is provided in a single payment after the last event, upon submission of participation proofs to SODEC.
- SODEC's financial aid is not available for events already held; only future events are eligible.
- The maximum annual aid granted to a single enterprise is capped at $5,000.
