Who is eligible?

- Wages and mandatory employment-related costs
- Professional fees, such as consultants, research, audit, and translation

- Participant costs, such as transportation, childcare, and accommodation support

How to apply
- Step 1: Gather documents
- Complete the application form.
- Prepare the budget detail template.
- Add partnership letters if required.
- Step 2: Choose submission method
- Apply online through GCOS.
- Or send the complete package by email or mail.
- Step 3: Submit the application
- Upload or send all required documents.
- For email or mail, use the program email address or mailing address provided by the department.
- Step 4: Receive confirmation
- Online applicants receive a confirmation number and email.
- Email applicants receive an automatic confirmation.
- Mail applicants receive confirmation by email within 21 calendar days.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications were screened for eligibility first.
- Projects were then assessed against program objectives and other funding considerations.
- Applicants were notified in writing of the outcome.
- A funding agreement had to be signed before activities or expenses could begin.
- Incomplete applications could be rejected if missing information was not provided within 5 business days.
Additional information
- Only one application per stream was allowed under a single CRA business registration number.
- Quebec-based applicants may need to review M-30 authorization requirements before signing an agreement with the Government of Canada.
- If an application is incomplete, applicants were given 5 business days to provide missing information.
- Project recipients must collect and report annual results and aggregated participant data.
