How to apply
- Step 1: Submit application
- Apply through NOHFC for the Regional Tile Drainage Program.
- Step 2: Application review
- NOHFC reviews the application to confirm it meets program guidelines.
- Step 3: Additional evaluation
- NOHFC may request more information and assess the project in greater detail.
- Step 4: Final decision
- The board of directors makes the final decision and applicants are informed of the outcome.
Processing and Agreement
- NOHFC shares its review with its board of directors, who make the final decision on the application.
- The installation must be completed by a contractor licensed for tile drainage installation, and the contractor must confirm compliance with the Drainage Guide for Ontario.
- A copy of a map and identification of property showing tile installation must be provided with requests for payment to NOHFC.
- The consortium service provider must maintain and present a detailed GPS map of the tiled areas in a mutually agreeable format for final payment.
- An OMAFRA technical review is a mandatory part of the due diligence process.
