The MRC de La Mitis signed the “Signature innovation” agreement with Québec’s Ministère des Affaires municipales et de l’Habitation (MAMH) on March 24, 2021, under the overarching project “La Mitis à l’ère du numérique.”
The “Signature innovation” initiative is intended to complement other components of the Fonds régions et ruralité (FRR) and other Québec government programs.
A management framework (“cadre de gestion”) governing the use of the Signature innovation funding envelope was adopted by the MRC council on July 14, 2021.
The program is overseen by a steering committee that includes representatives from the MRC, MAMH, the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation, and the SADC de La Mitis.
