Eligible expenses
- Salaries, benefits, and consultant fees directly related to the project
- Office space rental and equipment not normally used in daily operations
- Travel and accommodation within Canada
- Meeting, workshop, dissemination, promotion, and communications costs
- Evaluation, audit, insurance, and other approved project costs
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Mental health services or clinical treatment
- Core operating expenses, including normal rent
- Capital costs such as land, buildings, or vehicles
- Pure research without specific application
- In-kind expenses and travel or hospitality above NJC rates

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are first screened through an Advance Screening Form.
- Submitted forms are assessed for fit with the Fund’s objectives.
