Overview
The Implementation Stream provides funding for community-led projects that focus on promoting mental health among Black Canadians, with grants of up to $200,000 annually for a maximum of four years. Projects must address social determinants of health and include evaluation and knowledge translation components to demonstrate impact.
Activities funded
Development and implementation of culturally focused mental health programs addressing social determinants, with evaluation and knowledge sharing.
Examples of admissible projects:

Letter of Intent, Full Proposal, supporting documents such as project plan, evaluation and knowledge translation plans.
Eligibility
Projects led by or developed with Black Canadian community groups, organizations, or researchers, and address social determinants of mental health.

- Not-for-profit organizations led by or serving Black communities in Canada.
- Canadian public institutions such as schools, hospitals, and police agencies, in partnership with not-for-profit groups.
- Research organizations and academics affiliated with post-secondary institutions.
- Private sector organizations in partnership with not-for-profit organizations.
