Who is eligible?
- Family physicians in Canada
- Family medicine researchers and educators in Canada
- Family medicine residents, for specific awards
- CFPC members in community or university settings
Who is not eligible
- CFPC staff members are not eligible to receive grants.
- Family medicine residents and medical students are not eligible for some programs.
- Applicants who received the same award or grant within the last three years are not eligible.
Eligible expenses
- Travel and accommodation related to the award or project
- Professional development or capacity-building training
- Research staff and project-related personnel
- Essential supplies and equipment for the project
- Knowledge translation and dissemination costs
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Applicants cannot claim lost practice time or the cost of a replacement physician in their budget for some grants.
- Conference and course participation in palliative care is not eligible for the Subvention C. Robert Kemp en soins palliatifs.
- Personal compensation for the principal investigator or co-investigators is not allowed in the research proposal budget.
