Who is eligible?
- A student accepted into an eligible post-secondary degree program
- A student currently enrolled in an eligible post-secondary degree program
- A mature student who has been accepted into an eligible post-secondary degree program
Who is not eligible
- Applicants who are receiving financial support from another Métis government or organization
- Applicants may not receive RLI Post-Secondary Education funding and awards through the Métis Education Foundation

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are processed in the order they are received
- Applicants are responsible for ensuring that their application is accurate and complete, and only accurate and complete applications will be processed
- Rupertsland Institute will verify the information provided and may request additional supporting documentation on a case-by-case basis where further clarification or verification is needed
- Returning students must maintain regular contact with their designated RLI METI-S Advisor and provide confirmation of enrollment, updated official transcripts, and a current course schedule
- Applications related to incomplete academic years will not be processed
