• The applicant must be a CRA-registered charity, or work through a sponsoring charity, or qualify to be included in a charitable program of the Foundation.
• The initiative must demonstrate a clear benefit to the community.
• The application must explain how the project will be funded beyond the Foundation’s support.
• The project must align with one or more of the Foundation’s focus areas (social services, health, arts, education, environment).

• Step 1: Confirm eligibility

  • Describe how the initiative will benefit the community.
  • Explain how the project will be funded beyond the Foundation’s support.
  • Outline the project as a one-year initiative, or show provisions for future funding for continuing projects.
• Step 3: Submit the application for review
  • Submit the application in time to be considered for the annual grant review committee deadline (October 1).
