Pathy Fellowship dates and references updated
The Become a Pathy Fellow page now says applicants must be under 30 by June 21, 2027, and that the program start date is June 21, 2027 instead of June 29, 2026. The How to Apply page also changed its reference instructions: the community reference is now an endorsement from a partner organization or an organization within or serving the community, and the additional reference is now an academic reference from university faculty or staff. Selection days moved from February 18–19, 2027 to February 15–16, 2027.

Who is eligible?
- Canadian citizens or Canadian permanent residents
- Current Undergraduate or Master’s students in any field or discipline, including post-graduate programs such as Law and Education
- Students who previously completed at least a Bachelor’s degree and are now studying toward a Diploma or Certificate at a Canadian university of at least one full semester’s duration

- Students pursuing or who hold a PhD, Medical, Pharmacy, or Dental degree

How to apply
- Begin your application, connect with references, and access support resources before submitting by the deadline.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed through a multi-stage process that includes detailed rubrics, individual review, contextual research, and collaborative deliberations.
- Approximately six to seven weeks after submitting an application, candidates will be informed of the status of their candidacy.
- Up to 20 shortlisted candidates will be invited and funded to attend a two-day Selection process in Montreal.
- Shortlisted candidates must make themselves available to attend Selection Days.
Additional information
- There is no fee for applying to the Fellowship.
- Applications open annually on September 1st and close on November 1st.
- Successful candidates receive their Fellowship offers via email on February 26, 2027.
- The program begins on June 21, 2027.
