Energy assessment funding expanded
The energy assessment funding page now also includes the related Energy efficiency retrofit incentives offer, which adds new incentive tables and payment pathways for retrofit work. A new contractor requirement is shown for non-HPCN contractors: beginning June 10, 2026, they must complete and sign the Contractor Acknowledgment of Program Requirements before undertaking incentive-eligible retrofit work. The newly visible retrofit section includes incentives such as up to $2,000 for insulation measures, up to $9,500 per premises for high efficiency windows and doors, up to $12,000 for a central ducted electric air source heat pump, and up to $200,000 per building for community building heat pumps. It also states that project management funding remains available at 10% of eligible energy efficiency project incentives.

How to apply

Processing and Agreement

- Pre-payment review and verification can take up to 30 days after all documents are received.
- Final payment is issued after completion and verification of final documents, which can take up to 90 days.
- Administrators may verify information and request supporting access or clarification.
