Activities funded
- Camp de jour without accommodation, including summer day camp, spring break day camp, winter or holiday day camp, and another day center for people 21 years old or younger
- Physically active leisure activities that are not in a day camp format
Documents Needed
- The PALÎM application form
- Complete financial statements produced in 2025 or 2024: balance sheet, income statement, and retained earnings, compiled by an accountant
- Proof of civil liability insurance of $2 million
- Complete letters patent for the organization, required for a first PALÎM application or if the organization’s name, mission, or objectives have changed
- Calculator(s), for a first PALÎM application or if the planned number of accompanier staff increases significantly

Who is eligible?
- Organizations that offer leisure activities
- Municipalities on the Island of Montreal or boroughs of the City of Montreal
- Legally constituted non-profit organizations on the Island of Montreal with a Quebec enterprise number (NEQ) and a leisure mission or a mission serving people with disabilities
Who is not eligible
- Individuals
- Organizations in the health network or education network
- Private businesses and organizations, including private for-profit organizations
- Childcare centres, respite centres, and daycare centres
- Parapublic organizations, professional orders, political organizations, union or employer organizations, religious or sectarian associations or organizations, and vacation camps
Eligible expenses
- Salary of an accompanier during the leisure activities of the accompanied person and during the official hours of the activity
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Leisure activities with accommodation
- Childcare services
- Respite services
- Accompaniment that is not in a leisure context
- Any expense other than accompanier salary during the activity, including training and meetings for accompanier staff, activity preparation, travel time, and registration fees

Selection criteria
- Non-compliance with the conditions of a previous PALÎM edition will be considered during the analysis of the application
How to apply
- Step 1: Attend the mandatory information session
- Register for the online session.
- Participate on March 26, 2026, with camera on.
- Step 2: Review the program guide and prepare documents
- Read the PALÎM 2026-2027 guide carefully.
- Prepare the required administrative documents.
- Step 3: Complete the application form
- Fill out the official PALÎM application form online.
- Use the PDF version only for consultation.
- Step 4: Send the application and supporting documents
- Submit the form by March 31, 2026.
- Email all required administrative documents to palim@altergo.ca.
Processing and Agreement
- An acknowledgment of receipt is sent only once the application form and required administrative documents are complete
- If the file is incomplete or unclear, AlterGo contacts the responsible person and a reply is required within 5 working days
- If AlterGo requests information or a document and receives no response after 2 attempts, or if a final report is not submitted, the request is treated as withdrawn and repayment of any amount already paid will be requested
- An official PDF notice is sent by email once the government confirms the award
- When the amount awarded is $10,000 or more, a funding agreement must be signed between the organization and AlterGo before any support can be paid
