This program provides financial assistance to support projects that protect wildlife and wildlife habitats in off-road vehicle contexts. Eligible activities include impact knowledge initiatives, wildlife-sensitive trail planning, trail or crossing improvements, and user awareness-raising.
Activities funded
- Initiatives to gain knowledge on the impacts of off-road vehicles on wildlife and wildlife habitats.
- Trail planning activities designed to better respect wildlife and wildlife habitats.
- Improvements to ORV trails or off-trail crossings and related infrastructure to better protect wildlife and habitats.
- Awareness-raising activities for ORV users on preserving wildlife habitats.
