Eligibility
- The applicant must be an Ontario-based not-for-profit corporation or a national not-for-profit corporation with its head office in Ontario.
- The organization must have at least $75,000 in total revenues for the last fiscal year and projected revenues for the current and requested years (for those not currently receiving funding from this program).
- The organization must demonstrate two years of sustained, regular, ongoing programming as of the application date.
- The organization must have a range of revenue sources.
- The organization must have an active board of directors or governing body.

- National not-for-profit professional literary organizations with head office in Ontario (excluding book and magazine publishers)

- Organizations that primarily distribute Canadian literature.
- Organizations that primarily publish books and/or magazines.
- Non-arts organizations.
- Municipalities.
- Colleges and/or universities.

- Step 3: Register and Update AccountsCreate or update your profile in Nova, the Ontario Arts Council's grant application system.
- Register for an account with Canadian Arts Data / Données sur les arts au Canada (CADAC) if you are a new applicant.
- Step 4: Prepare Application MaterialsProvide answers to the application questions in Nova.
- Submit financial and statistical information through CADAC.
- Upload financial statements for your organization’s last completed year to CADAC.
- Prepare and include support documents such as a link to your website and samples of recent marketing materials.
- Step 5: Submit Application OnlineAccess the application form in Nova (available about two months before the deadline).
- Complete and submit the application with all required documentation by the stated deadline.
- Step 6: Await NotificationExpect grant notification approximately five months after the application deadline.

- The program is currently in year 2 of a three-year funding cycle; new applicants may only apply in the first year of the cycle.
