  • Activities primarily protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, or those that may infringe morality, are ineligible.
  • All other sectors, except those specifically excluded, are eligible.

Who is eligible?

In order to apply for the Volet 2 – CIETECH / programme transformation numérique grant, eligible applicants are businesses legally constituted and registered in the Quebec Business Register with their headquarters or main place of business in the MRC de Joliette, and they must be working with CIETECH and Lanaudière Économique in the digital transformation program. All sectors are eligible except those related to weaponry, gambling, combat sports, tobacco or drugs (unless Health Canada approved), activities primarily protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and any activities deemed immoral, such as adult entertainment establishments.

Who is not eligible

This grant excludes certain companies and industries due to their main activities. The restrictions ensure the funds are allocated to sectors aligned with the program's objectives and moral considerations.
