- Audiobooks and documentary recordings of publication-based writing

- Artist fees for project work
- Research costs, including travel, accommodation, resources, and research assistance
- Recording studio time, supporting artists, and recording professionals
- Physical media manufacturing and initial digital distribution setup
- Childcare, dependent care, and accessibility-related project costs

- Manuscript evaluation, editorial services, and publication expenses
- Expenses after a completed work has been recorded or published
