Who is eligible?
- LCF members who are citizens or permanent residents of Canada
- Students studying at a post-secondary institution
- Students enrolled full-time or part-time toward a university degree or community college degree or certificate
- Students planning to attend Lithuanian language courses, seminars, or programs may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Processing and Agreement
- Applicants will be notified by email whether or not their application was approved within 6 weeks.
- Scholarship recipients must provide proof of attendance at a post-secondary institution.
- Only letters from the institution’s registrar or evidence of tuition being paid will be accepted as proof of attendance.
- Scholarship recipients must provide their Social Insurance Number (SIN) to the LCF for tax purposes.
- Recipient names will be posted on the LCF website, and recipients may be asked to attend a presentation ceremony at an LCF sponsored or Lithuanian Canadian community event.
