Who is eligible?
- Ontario homeowners
- Enbridge Gas space-heated homes
- Low-rise multi-unit residential buildings
- Off-grid community homeowners in Ontario
Who is not eligible
- Homes less than 6 months old or incomplete structures
- Homes not heated by Enbridge Gas, for enhanced rebates
- Properties with four storeys or more
- Retirement homes and larger MURBs over the program limits
- Rental units that are not the owner’s primary residence

- Work completed before the pre-retrofit energy evaluation
- Leased or rented equipment
- Personal labour costs for self-installed solar PV systems

- Torched-on membranes and flat roofs for roofing membrane rebates

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed and processed in order of receipt
- Payment is not guaranteed when the application is submitted
- Applicants may be asked for additional information or supporting documents
- Approved rebates are issued after the Registered Energy Advisor submits the file
- Rebate payments are sent by cheque, typically within 16 weeks after submission
