- Only one grant can be awarded per establishment during the 3-year program duration.

- Maintaining retail, rental, or consumer service business operations during major public infrastructure works in designated sectors of Montreal.

Eligibility criteria of the Flat-rate grant: businesses in sectors affected by major works program
- The business must be located in a sector of the agglomeration affected by major infrastructure works managed by the City of Montreal, a related city, or the STM.
- The business must be engaged in retail sales, product rental, or the provision of consumer services.
- The business must have been operating before the start of the public works project.
- The establishment must be situated in an eligible zone, as designated for this program.

- Companies in professional, scientific, and technical services (except interior design and photography services).
- Businesses in finance and insurance sectors.
- Healthcare and social assistance providers (except daycare services).
- Real estate service providers (except self-storage mini-warehouses).
Eligible geographic areas
- Businesses located in sectors of the Montréal agglomeration affected by major infrastructure projects initiated by the City of Montréal, a related city, or the Société de transport de Montréal (STM).
How to apply to the Flat-rate grant: businesses in sectors affected by major works program

Gather required documents
- Gather digital copies of required documents, including the company information statement from the Registre des entreprises du Québec
- Obtain a valid certificate of occupancy
- Consult the Guide on the Charter of the French Language and complete the Declaration form, signed and accompanied by the necessary certificate or attestation, if applicable
- Provide a document granting power of attorney for any representative, if applicable
- Attach a complete copy of the lease, signed by both parties, proving tenant status before and during the works, if applicable

Complete and assemble application
- Complete the application form for each eligible establishment
- Attach all required supporting documents to the application

Submit the application
- Submit each completed application online with the attached documents
Additional information
- The grant amount is a flat rate of $5,000 per eligible establishment.
- Only one grant per establishment can be awarded for the duration of the three-year program.
- Applications are accepted until the allocated funds are exhausted.
- The grant can be awarded as soon as major construction begins, and no proof of loss of income is required.
