Eligible expenses
- Energy Manager hiring costs, including salary and benefits
- Direct hiring costs such as advertising and recruiting
- Professional membership dues required to maintain status
- Professional training fees
- Eligible energy management support products, with reimbursement available in some cases

- Measures funded by another IESO program or another Ontario public funding program
- Behind-the-meter generation, including renewable energy generation
- Measures that start before the cohort kick-off workshop
- Fuel-switching and efficient electrification projects

Processing and Agreement
- The IESO reviews the application and may reject it at its sole discretion.
- If approved, the applicant receives a written Notice of Approval by email.
- The application becomes binding only after the Notice of Approval is issued.

- Payments depend on approval of required reports and completion of program obligations.
