Eligible projects include activities that enhance knowledge related to skill development and address the needs of the labour market through various innovative and collaborative efforts.
- Development of diagnostics, analyses, or studies to enhance understanding of skills development like human and behavioral skill training methods.
- Creation and dissemination of innovative training programs to pilot groups, followed by evaluations of these training initiatives.
- Organization of collaborative activities focused on developing knowledge or promoting professions with workforce needs, facilitated by multiple labour market partners.

Eligible expenses
The eligible projects for this grant focus on enhancing the understanding of workforce skills development and addressing training needs through innovative approaches. The activities emphasize research, pilot projects, and collaborative efforts to promote a culture of continual learning and skill development.
- Development of diagnostics, analyses, or studies aimed at improving knowledge related to skill development, such as literature reviews on effective workforce training methods.
- Development and implementation of innovative training programs, dissemination to pilot groups, and evaluation of these programs.
- Organization of collaborative activities related to knowledge development or highlighting professions that require labor.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Training delivered in a language other than French, except in specific cases allowed by Quebec law
- Projects that can be funded under another FDRCMO or FDMT subsidy program
- Activities related to human resources management
- Activities started before the agreement is signed by all parties

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed after submission, and processing time varies by call for projects.
- Incomplete applications are not analyzed.
- Selected promoters are invited to develop the project in full with CRPMT support.
- The process may lead to project approval and implementation.
Additional information
Projects must demonstrate the resources and expertise necessary for implementation and should be completed within 24 months.
- Eligible clients include members of the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail, private organizations, and public organizations.
- Financial assistance can cover up to 100% of eligible expenses.
- Salaries and fees up to $150 per hour and $90,000 annually per person are eligible for funding, including consultants, researchers, and training personnel.
- Miscellaneous eligible expenses include essential inputs (software, specialized tools, etc.), educational or promotional materials, administrative support costs, and costs related to the training of individuals with disabilities.
- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the allocated funds are exhausted.
