Eureka Globalstars Taiwan 2023-24 call for proposals

Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Incorporated, profit-oriented small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Canada.
  • Canadian SME participants that are registered NRC IRAP clients.

Who is not eligible

  • Universities, research institutes and participants from other countries are not eligible project participants for funding.

Selection criteria

  • Preference may be given to SME applicants with at least 15 full-time equivalent employees, 1 or more commercialized products domestically or internationally, and more than $500,000 CAD in annual revenue.

How to apply

  • The lead Canadian applicant must register by selecting the Register button on the page.
  • Each Canadian applicant must submit an expression of interest (EOI) form.
  • All project partners must complete and submit the international consortium project proposal (ICPP) package.
  • Eligible project partners must complete funding proposals and sign legally binding funding agreements with their respective national funding body.

Processing and Agreement

  • NRC IRAP reviews registrations and contacts applicants if more information is required.
  • Qualifying applicants are invited to submit an expression of interest, which is evaluated by the applicant's NRC IRAP representative and the NRC IRAP International Office.
  • Each project partner seeking funding must submit all required documents to, and meet the due diligence process of, its respective national funding body.
  • Canadian ICPP applications are evaluated by an NRC evaluation team, and the results are shared between national funding bodies for joint selection before the final funding agreement stage.
