How to apply

  • Canadian applicants must register using the Register button at the end of the page.
  • Canadian applicants seeking funding must submit an expression of interest form.
  • All project partners must work together to complete and submit an international consortium project proposal (ICPP) package.
  • Each project partner seeking funding must submit all required documents to its respective national funding body and meet its due diligence process requirements.
  • Eligible project partners must complete funding proposals and sign legally binding funding agreements with their respective national funding body.

Processing and Agreement

  • NRC IRAP reviews Canadian registrations and may contact applicants if more information is required.
  • Qualifying applicants are invited to submit an expression of interest form.
  • EOIs are evaluated by the applicant’s NRC IRAP representative and the NRC IRAP International Office.
  • NRC IRAP evaluates Canadian ICPP applications, and only Canadian participants of selected proposals are invited to submit an NRC IRAP funding proposal.
  • Application processes and evaluations are performed independently by each national funding body, followed by a final joint project selection.
