Who is eligible?
- Public health or social services institutions located in Quebec
Eligible expenses
- Labor and materials for coverings, security system, lighting, paint, carpentry, electricity, plumbing, hardware, glass partitions, soundproof walls, furniture, and decoration
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Design services for creating plans
- Contingency fees
- Development of living environments or residences with continuous assistance
- Maintenance or repair costs for facilities, such as windows, roofing, and ventilation

- Assessment of the impact generated for children, families, and healthcare teams in alignment with Enfant Soleil’s mission
- Deploy essential new local pediatric care services
- Enhance and expand the offering of local pediatric care
- Improve the experience of the child and their family throughout the pediatric care journey
How to apply
- If this is your first request, contact Enfant Soleil to obtain a user code for the online platform.
- Obtain project approval from your facility’s management.
- Submit an application including all required supporting documents.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are analyzed and recommended by an external committee of independent experts.
- The grant is approved by the Board of Directors of Enfant Soleil and, if applicable, by Santé Québec.
- An agreement is signed between Enfant Soleil and the applicant.
- A concerted recognition plan adapted to the project is implemented, and Enfant Soleil makes a public announcement of the grant.
- The project is implemented, funds are claimed gradually or in full upon presentation of invoices, and annual accountability is submitted through full completion within a maximum period of 30 months.
