• Commercial customers subject to Enbridge Gaz Québec Rate 1
• Institutional customers subject to Enbridge Gaz Québec Rate 1
• Industrial customers subject to Enbridge Gaz Québec Rate 1

Who is not eligible

• Companies that are not commercial, institutional, or industrial clients subject to Enbridge Gaz Québec's Tariff 1.
• Projects that are already eligible for other Enbridge Gaz Québec energy efficiency grant programs.

Eligible expenses

• Salaries for internal staff and project partners working directly on the project.
• Professional service fees required for the project.
• Equipment, material rental, and supplies.
• Validation and verification service fees.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Production losses, rejects, or other losses related to the project.
• Land purchases.
• Non-essential or non-justifiable expenses, such as executive salaries.
• Any expense not directly related to the project.

Eligible geographic areas

• Quebec

• Pre-admission applications are reviewed in the order received.
• Pre-admission applications are reviewed according to funding availability.

• Step 1: Review the participant guide
  • Consult the Innovation participant guide before preparing your request.
• Step 2: Submit an indication of interest
  • Send the indication of interest form to Enbridge Gaz Québec.
  • Expect contact within 10 business days to discuss the project.
• Step 3: Submit the pre-admission application
  • Send the pre-admission form and project details for approval before starting the measures.
• Step 4: Receive approval and first instalment
  • Wait for confirmation of receipt and approval from Enbridge Gaz Québec.
  • The first financial assistance instalment is paid after approval.
• Step 5: Carry out the project
  • Organize and complete the project implementation.
• Step 6: Submit progress reports
  • Provide progress reports according to the timeline set with Enbridge Gaz Québec.
• Step 7: Submit the participation request
  • Send the final project report and justification for eligible expenses by email or mail.
• Step 8: Receive the second instalment
  • The request is reviewed before the second payment is issued.
  • If approved, the second instalment is sent by cheque to the address provided.

• Enbridge Gaz Québec confirms receipt of the pre-admission application within 10 working days.
• If pre-admission is accepted, the amount of financial assistance and the guaranteed period will be indicated on the returned form.
• Applicants must submit all participation documents required to analyze the application within 90 working days.
• Pre-admission applications are reviewed in the order received and according to funding availability.
• If the application for pre-admission is denied, the reason is provided on the returned form.

• Financial assistance is paid in two equal instalments.
• Progress reports are required on a schedule set at the start of the project.
• A final report is required when the project is completed.
• Enbridge Gaz Québec may request additional documents during review.
