Enbridge Gas Quebec — Cash incentives – Fryer Energy Star

• The applicant must own a commercial kitchen that uses natural gas for water heating (rate 1).
• The project must involve the purchase and installation of an ENERGY STAR® certified natural gas fryer from a licensed commercial kitchen appliance supplier.
• The appliance installation can be part of a new construction or an existing commercial kitchen.
• The application must include the technical data sheet of the appliance and a purchase invoice issued within the past 12 months, showing the appliance model and installation date.

Who is eligible?

• Owners of commercial kitchens using natural gas to heat water (rate 1)
• Businesses specializing in the purchase of ENERGY STAR® certified natural gas fryers
• Newly constructed commercial kitchens using natural gas

Eligible expenses

• Purchase of an ENERGY STAR^® certified natural gas fryer, supported by an invoice detailing the appliance model and installation date.

Eligible geographic areas

• Companies located in Quebec.

• Processing of requests on a first come, first served basis and according to budget availability.
• Verification of the compliance of required documents (technical sheet of the device and purchase invoice with model and installation date).

• Pre-admission application is optional but highly recommended to confirm eligibility before appliance purchase and installation.
• Incentive requests are processed on a first come, first served basis and are subject to available funding.
• The purchase invoice for the appliance must be issued within 12 months prior to the application and include the installation date and model.
• Additional incentives may be available for other eligible energy-efficient natural gas appliances in commercial kitchens.
