Who is eligible?
- Non-profit organizations duly registered as charities with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
Who is not eligible
- Parapublic organizations, government institutions or affiliates, local branches of national organizations or their affiliates, individuals, religious or political groups, sports or professional associations, social economy organizations, and scholarship requests.
- Requests intended to respond to emergencies, defend a cause, remedy a capital shortage, or reduce a deficit.
- Requests for administrative costs, international internships, international NGO projects, social housing, general fundraising campaigns, foundation capital or sustainability funds, or matching programs and endowment funds used to generate revenue.

- Priority is given to under-resourced neighbourhoods where families with children are especially isolated, vulnerable, or facing service gaps in sectors normally covered by the state.
How to apply
- Submit a preliminary funding request at any time of year.
Processing and Agreement
- After submission, the application is analysed by the foundation’s team.
- A follow-up email is sent, سواء the response is positive or negative.
- If the response is positive, additional information is requested for a second-level analysis of the financial statements and annual report.
- A face-to-face meeting between the organization and FDG representatives is held to confirm the possibility of partnership.
