  • Owner/applicant labour
  • Dumping fees for demolition-related applications
  • Trailers, sheds, hanging planters, and other non-permanent structures

Processing and Agreement

  • The application is first reviewed through a pre-application consultation with the municipality.
  • Applications are then reviewed and sent to the Economic Development and Tourism Advisory Committee for recommendation.
  • Municipal Council must approve the application by resolution or by-law.
  • If approved, the applicant must sign an incentive agreement before starting the work.
  • After completion, the municipality may inspect the property and issue payment once all requirements are met.

Additional information

  • Applications are subject to annual municipal budget allocations.
  • Applicants may combine more than one incentive for the same property, up to the program cap.
  • All expenses are reimbursed after the work is completed and paid invoices are submitted.
  • Owner/applicant labour is not eligible.
