Who is eligible?
- Postsecondary institutions
- Consortia or groups of postsecondary institutions
- Institutions participating in EDI-focused research collaboration
Who is not eligible
- Single institutions applying alone
- Institutions that are not eligible postsecondary institutions
- Institutions that are not part of a multi-institution group
Eligible expenses
- Accessible-format document production
- Honoraria, gifts, and participant incentives
- Interpretation and other accessibility supports
- Project staff, student, expert, and Knowledge Keeper remuneration
- Translation, travel, and venue rental costs
Processing and Agreement
- Eligible applications are reviewed by a committee of experts.
- The committee assesses applications against three weighted criteria: Potential impact (40%), Collaboration (40%), and Commitment and knowledge (20%).
- Successful institutions are notified in December.
- Recipients must implement their strategy quickly and submit a final report at the end of the project.

- No letters of support are required.
- Applications must use plain language and simple terminology.
- Selected institutions will be notified in December.
- Funds must be used in accordance with the Tri-agency Guide on Financial Administration.
