Who is eligible?

- Political organizations or organizations engaged in political activities, including rallies, endorsing candidates, lobbying, or advocating for specific government policies or legislation

Eligible expenses
- All direct expenses that are directly related to the delivery of the program, project, or event.
- Administration costs that are not directly tied to program, project or events, capped at 15% of the total eligible expenses.

How to apply
- Review the grant guidelines to confirm your organization and proposal are eligible for funding.
- Log in to the CIP Grant Portal at www.rmwb.ca/CIP and complete the application.
- Attach the required documents, including relevant budgets and signed financial statements; add the Partnership Letter of Support if applicable.
- If clarification is requested, log in to the CIP Grant Portal and provide the revisions.
Processing and Agreement
- CIP will conduct a preliminary review of the application and supporting documents to ensure eligibility and completeness.
- Eligible and complete applications move to Stage 2 (CIPAC Review).
- CIPAC evaluates applications using the criteria in Appendix A5.
- CIPAC will select successful applications based on scoring, community impact, funding priorities and available budget.
- Grant funding will be disbursed to recipients in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement.

- Applications not submitted by 4:30 p.m. MST on the closing date will be withdrawn by CIP Staff.
