- Non-member organizations, unless the project indirectly supports collective member action and is reviewed exceptionally
- Organizations outside the Desjardins Caisse network when they should apply to their own Caisse
- Projects that are personal, international, or internship-based without major Quebec community impact
- Organizations with fraud convictions or conduct that harms the reputation or values of Desjardins
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Pre-startup expertise, feasibility studies, and similar preparation work
- Building renovation, construction, equipment purchases, moving, or office setup
- Annual fundraising campaigns or mass mailings
- Website redesign, branding refresh, or stationery production
- International projects and internships, unless they have a major impact for communities in Quebec

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed after submission through the required online form.
- FADM requests are first analyzed and recommended by a committee, then approved by the board.
- Applicants are informed of the funding decision after review.
- Processing times are about 8 to 12 weeks for FADM requests and 4 to 10 weeks for donations and sponsorships.
- A written partnership letter or agreement is required for each contribution.
