Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Eligible construction industry workers.
  • Eligible employers that paid for training provided to their employees.

Eligible expenses

  • Costs paid for training provided to employees.
  • Administrative fees and instructional materials applicable when enrolling in study programs listed in the professional development activities directory.
  • Travel and accommodation expenses.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Other expenses are not included.
  • No incentive measure is payable in the event of cancellation, with notice of 24 hours or more, of a professional development activity, or when the person does not attend it in full.
  • There can be no double accommodation allowance.
  • No allowance is offered to cover registration fees, administrative fees, and file-opening fees.

Eligible geographic areas

  • Quebec
  • Outside Quebec when no training developing equivalent skills is available in Quebec.

Selection criteria

  • Priority registration for women until reaching 20 % of the group or at least two women if the group has fewer than 10 people.
  • Priority registration for Indigenous people until reaching 20 % of the group or at least two Indigenous people if the group has fewer than 10 people.

How to apply

  • Use the CCQ online services, Training Activity section, to obtain payment of incentive measures.
  • To register for another training, go through Train or improve my skills, then Incentive measures.
  • To confirm or cancel participation in a training, use the online services or the Info-Perfectionnement line.
  • For a cash advance, request it two weeks before the start of the training by calling the Info-Perfectionnement line at 1 888 902-2222.
  • For reimbursement of expenses for training not listed in the Directory, complete form PD1152.
  • For employer reimbursement, complete form PD1151.

Processing and Agreement

  • For a deferred reimbursement activity, the funding request must be submitted to the Commission with supporting documents no later than 90 days following the end of the activity.
  • To obtain an incentive measure, the eligible person must demonstrate to the Commission’s satisfaction that they were present for the full duration of the activity.
  • For the cash advance, authorization must be signed to allow the CCQ to recover overpaid amounts in the event of absence or non-participation.
  • For remote activities, detailed attendance reports must be submitted to the Commission.
