Who is eligible?

- Posthumous nominations.
- Finalists from one edition applying in the next two editions.
- Applicants submitting to more than one category.

Selection criteria
- Quality of the application and letters of support (20 points).
- Innovative achievements and contribution to the field in Quebec and beyond (35 points).
- Recognition and influence at national or international level (30 points).
- Commitment to intercultural relations and cultural diversity (15 points).
- Regional involvement and recognition for the regional category (up to 15 points each).
How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare your application
- Review the eligibility requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Gather your CV and two letters of support.
- Complete the consent form.
- Step 2: Complete the online form
- Fill out the application form online in French.
- Complete all required fields and attach the requested documents.
- Use the Word version as a draft if needed.
- Step 3: Submit the application
- Submit the form online only.
- Do not send the application by mail or email.
- Make sure the file is complete before submission.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by a jury.
- Three finalists are selected in each category.
- Winners are announced after finalist selection.
- Awards and certificates are presented by MIFI in partnership with Culture pour tous.
Additional information
- Two categories are available: National and international, and Regional.
- Finalists receive an official MIFI certificate.
- The award is presented during Quebec Intercultural Encounters Week.
