Must be a registered non-profit organization within the City of Prince George engaging the public.

Registered not-for-profit organizations operating within the City of Prince George.

Who is not eligible

Non-profit organizations outside Prince George or for-profit entities.

Eligible expenses

Event organization costs, promotional expenses, venue rentals, entertainment and activities, security and insurance.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

Items not eligible include private events, commercial advertising unrelated to the event, and costs incurred outside the scope of the funded activities.

Evaluation focuses on the event’s potential to foster community pride, visitor attraction, alignment with city goals, and quality of promotional plans.

Complete the application form online or in person before the deadline.Prepare supporting documents including proof of non-profit status, event description, and budget.Submit the application and supporting documents to the designated department.Await review process, which takes two weeks, for notification.If approved, receive the funding and carry out the event as planned.

Applications are reviewed for eligibility and alignment with program goals. Successful applicants are notified within two weeks, and funding agreements are signed before fund disbursement. Progress reports or post-event evaluations may be required to assess impact.

Applicants are encouraged to submit preliminary proposals two weeks prior to the deadline for feedback and completion assistance.
