Eligibility
Who is eligible?
Eligible types of companies for the Jobs and Growth Fund grant include businesses, co-operatives, and not-for-profit organizations. Indigenous-led organizations and/or businesses are also strongly encouraged to apply.

Eligible expenses
The Jobs and Growth Fund covers a range of eligible expenses including support for the transition to a green economy, fostering an inclusive recovery, preserving competitiveness through digital adoption, and strengthening capacity in critical sectors. Eligible expenses may include but are not limited to:
- Development and adoption of clean technology
- Planning and driving sustainable economic growth
- Catalyzing the development of green regional clusters
- Supporting underrepresented groups in the economy
- Building more inclusive and equitable workforce
- Investing in digital and technological solutions to increase business productivity
- Supporting scale-up and market expansion activities
- Adapting and diversifying supply chains in critical sectors
Eligible geographic areas
This grant is specific to the territories as it is administered by the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency (CanNor). The funding targets organizations located within the territories to promote regional growth and sustainability.

Selection criteria
There are evaluation and selection criteria for the Jobs and Growth Fund grant:
- Relevance of the project to the objectives and eligible activities of the fund.
- Demonstrated need for funding and potential economic impact.
- Credibility of the applicant's business plan or project proposal.
- Capacity and capability of the applicant to successfully implement the project.
How to apply
