How to apply

  • Step 1: Submit a Letter of Intent
    • New applicants must submit a Letter of Intent at least six months before the project start date.
  • Step 2: Obtain permission to apply
    • Wait for permission from FACTOR before submitting a formal application.
  • Step 3: Apply through the relevant administrator
    • FACTOR administers the English-language sector.
    • Musicaction administers the French-language sector.

Processing and Agreement

  • Letters of Intent are reviewed before a formal application is allowed for new applicants.
  • Applications are assessed on a quarterly basis by FACTOR staff.
  • Applications are then submitted for board review.
  • Applicants receive permission from FACTOR before applying.
