Overview
The program provides up to $200,000 in one-year flexible funding for Black-mandated, Black-led, and Black-serving charitable and non-profit organizations in Canada. It supports core operations, new or expanded programs and services, and community space capital projects addressing anti-Black racism and social or economic outcomes.
Activities funded
- Initiatives that combat Anti-Black Racism.
- Initiatives that improve social outcomes in Black communities.
- Initiatives that improve economic outcomes in Black communities.
- Capital projects and social infrastructure initiatives to create or improve community spaces.

Documents Needed
Eligibility
- The initiative must be led by a Black-mandated, Black-led, and Black-serving (B3) charitable or non-profit organization.
- The initiative must address at least one focus area: combatting Anti-Black Racism, improving social outcomes, or improving economic outcomes.
- The initiative must align with the Sustainable Development Goals and Social Determinants of Health.
- The initiative must be based in Canada.
- The initiative must be completed by March 31, 2027.

- Black-mandated, Black-led, and Black-serving (B3) non-profit organizations in Canada.

Eligible expenses
- Core and operational needs unrelated to programming (Core Stream).
- Costs to invest in new or expanded programs and services (Catapult Stream).
- Capital project and social infrastructure costs (Community Spaces Stream).
