Eligibility
- Applicant must be a producer or a local government pursuing agricultural water management projects.
- Project must relate to responsible drainage and support achieving approvals for constructed works.
- Activities must fall under one of the four streams: On-Farm Qualified Persons, Mediation Services Support, Technical Design Solutions Support, or Mitigation and Rehabilitation Support.
- Eligible costs must be incurred within the intake period specified for the selected stream.

- Fees for Qualified Persons for technical, communication, project development and project management work on targeted drainage projects.
- Costs for mediation services by a mediator specializing in conflict resolution for drainage-related agreements.
- Technical and engineering design costs to develop solutions for complex drainage projects.
- Construction costs for complex mitigation and rehabilitation solutions related to drainage works.

How to apply
- Step 1: Review Program Guide
- Consult the Agricultural Water Management Fund Program Guide to understand the four funding streams and their requirements.
- Step 2: Prepare Application
- Complete the Application Form (Appendix A) and gather any required supporting documents, such as the Drainage Approval Letter of Support template (Appendix B) if applicable.
- Step 3: Submit Application
- Send the completed application and supporting documents by email to AWMFund@wsask.ca within the relevant intake period for the chosen stream.

- The program is administered by Saskatchewan’s Water Security Agency (WSA).
- The fund is organized into four distinct support streams with different intake periods.
