Last Update: July 8, 2026
Latest change: The Accelerator pages now show approved recipient funding amounts and revised eligibility and application-form content, including the Project Summary form no longer being available.
Accelerator program content updated
The program overview now lists approved funding amounts and expanded recipient descriptions for the 2026-2028 recipient organizations, with examples such as $7,000,000 for Bioenterprise Canada and Ontario Genomics Institute and $3,250,000 for several other recipients. Those additions also narrow and clarify the project audiences and types now described for each organization, including Canadian companies, Quebec companies, clean technology validation, and farm-testing activities. The eligibility page no longer shows the explicit bullets stating that an Initial Recipient must be a not-for-profit organization and a legal entity capable of entering into legally binding agreements; it now uses generic qualifying language instead. The Project Summary PDF is also no longer available as a usable application form, removing the submission instructions, project start and end date fields, and the application email address that were previously shown.
