Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Creation or support of wildlife or flora observation and monitoring networks; development or improvement of inventory techniques, capture devices, monitoring methods, or sampling protocols.
  • Public awareness activities, or production of educational material, panels, or similar items.
  • Recurrent activities linked to an organization’s mission, including concertation exercises.
  • Management plans for private properties; legal compensatory works after habitat destruction or deterioration; projects concerning damage caused by wildlife.
  • Projects dealing with general environmental concerns, conferences or colloquia, fundraising, or fundraising campaigns.

How to apply

  • Submit the financial assistance request using the official program form by email to projets@fbfq.ca, with all required attachments.

Processing and Agreement

  • An incomplete application or one that does not respect program requirements may be deemed inadmissible.
  • If the application is accepted, the property owner agrees to allow a Foundation representative to visit the property for up to five years after project completion to verify the condition of the works.
  • When the project is finished, the financial statement must be completed using the actual revenues and expenses incurred.
