Rôle du Programme d'éducation ouverte dans l'écosystème du financement
Le Programme d'éducation ouverte et de publication (PÉP) de l'Université de Regina constitue une initiative provinciale-financée visant à réduire les coûts des manuels scolaires pour les étudiants et à améliorer l'accès à l'éducation. Créé en 2015 grâce au financement du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, le programme soutient le développement de manuels scolaires ouverts et d'autres ressources éducatives libres pour les cours de première et deuxième années.
Types de subventions offertes
- Subventions pour petits projets : jusqu'à 4 000 $ par demande pour l'adaptation mineure de ressources existantes ou la création de matériel complémentaire (diapositives, vidéos, banco de questions)
- Subventions pour grands projets : jusqu'à 25 000 $ par demande pour la création de nouveaux manuels scolaires ouverts ou l'adaptation majeure de ressources existantes (délai de 1 à 3 ans)
- Bourse de pédagogie ouverte : opportunité pour les professeurs de travailler avec les étudiants pour co-créer du contenu ouvert
Critères d'admissibilité
La priorité est accordée aux professeurs titulaires et en voie de titularisation ainsi qu'aux instructeurs employés par l'Université de Regina et ses colleges affiliés. Les demandes des professeurs à contrat déterminé et des chargés de cours avec priorité sont également considérées.
Processus d'évaluation
Tous les grands projets font l'objet d'un processus d'évaluation par les pairs en simple aveugle. Les évaluateurs disposent de six semaines pour compléter leur examen.
