TELUS Friendly Future Foundation is an independent registered charity dedicated to the well-being of youth facing barriers to reaching their full potential. With the support of TELUS, 100% of donations go directly to providing youth with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. Each year, the foundation supports over two million youth by aiding local charities and providing bursaries to students all across Canada.
Funding Priorities
Health and Education
The foundation believes that when essential support and resources are accessible, youth can take charge of their health and well-being. By partnering with organizations across the country, they empower young people to build confidence, learn new skills, and foster a sense of belonging.
Innovative Use of Technology
TELUS Friendly Future Foundation funds programs that leverage current technologies for counselling, peer support, and mentoring. Using innovative approaches, these programs ensure youth feel less isolated and more connected to their communities.

The impact of this work is reflected in success stories like The Boundless School, which supports marginalized youth in building self-belief and mental resilience, as well as technology initiatives that help young people with neurological challenges gain independence.
Student Bursaries
In addition to supporting charities, TELUS Friendly Future Foundation offers academic bursaries of up to $5,000 to eligible post-secondary students who face financial hardship and are committed to making a difference in their communities.

The foundation is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors and local Community Boards, working alongside a passionate leadership team. Together, they seek sustainable solutions to some of the most urgent challenges faced by youth in Canada, striving for a friendlier and more compassionate future.
